RA is a double-edged sword for me, I like it and hate it. I like it because its a place to see what other people are playing, I hate it because everytime I join, one member of my team doesnt make it through the load screen.

RA is for when I'm REALLY bored..
I usually run a Devastating Hammer build..
Devastating -> Crushing -> Heavy -> Bull's. People get frustrated when they're kded three times in a row..

I've had warriors call me a noob for running a hammer. You know, those warriors that spam Power Attack..

the funnest time ive had in RA was plaung a N/Rt WoR/vengeful wep with a crapload more restoration stuf the day after nightfall came out. 46 win streaks are good.

Why do people hate on [skill]Power Attack[/skill] so much? It's really a quite decent attack skill for a Strength W/x, allows a spike without waiting for adrenaline. (On the other hand, [skill]Soldier's Strike[/skill] in Tactics is a decent attack skill as well, and the condition for unblockability should be easy to meet for nearly any W/x.) Power Attack is better than the slightly anemic [skill]Counterattack[/skill] for quick-and-dirty RA matches.

not all though. Dunno, if it's just the american districts, but it used to be when i play at night, 8 out of 10 matches i lose cause some nub cakes decided that without a monk, we're dead for sure. Dishonor kept that from happening.

But it's a pain in the ass when your whole team dies, and some nub decided to lengthen the match by a few pointless seconds. it just ticks me off.

Power attack would be cool if it weren't just a body blow for 5 energy instead of 7 adrenaline. I usually have an easier time getting adrenaline than I do energy, especially with the way I spam frenzy and how little I tend to use my zealous mod.

Believe it or not. Most of my glad points and wins all together have come from teams with no monk, or any healer at all. And it's all because our group knew how to coordinate an attack and spike our biggest threat together. Frankly I'm glad they put in dishonor, leavers/leechers pushed me to the brink of quitting all together.

when i started playing my second account i chose to use monk but since there was barely anything unlocked my team died most of the time
i left a few times after all people were dead instead waiting for the contdown timer till return to outpost and after few games i got dishonoured
it was kind og irritating
but i enjoy RA somehow
and if they fix the sync i will enjoy it even more
it's ment to be random after all

You can randomly be placed on one of your guildie's teams. Especially if you know how

Also the whole no-healer thing was fixed when the added the Hero Battles maps to RA. Lots of people hated them but I loved them since it's not just a straight-on killfest and movement actually became important. Then they were removed and RA became the boring slugfest that it currently is.

no other arena is a slugfest except RA/TA, so why not leave it that way. theres a reason no one plays HvH, and if you want to cap something with a human team, play AB.

Its a simple matter of sticking 8 skills on your skillbar, entering, and seeing what you can do.

But with the Z keys out now RA became the place where people farm Balthizar factions. So now it isn't sticking 8 skills on your skillbar, entering, and seeing what you can do. People actually do want to win even if they aren't going for the Gladiator title.

But i personally they need to up the drop rate a bit lol, or make it 3k faction a piece for the keys. =D

Double faction arena events are going to be a lot more popular now with the zaishen chest, thats for sure. The problem is that when I try to play a serious build, most of the time the rest of my team is a joke. And since I cant rage quit on mending wammos anymore I cant be bothered taking RA seriously.
